I’ve done a lot of everything.
I was a rock wall instructor, sports journalist, copywriter, editor, producer and senior creative.
What began as an obsession with film at university - making short films and dreaming of Hollywood - has pragmatically grown to include advertising, marketing, and communications.
These days I'm working in-house at MOVEMBER, where I create campaigns that keep the DONOR DOLLARS ROLLING IN, content that supports THOSE IN NEED and comms that highlight their LIFE-SAVING WORK. I collaborate with our partners on INTEGRATED ACTIVATIONS, subject matter experts to help CHANGE BEHAVIOURS, and our insights team to discover NEW OPPORTUNITIES to raise more CRITICAL FUNDS.
At my heart, I'm all about smart CREATIVE, deliberate CONTENT, and integrated CAMPAIGNS.
Sure, I've picked up plenty of marketing strategy and social media know-how along the way - they just don't start with "C."
My experience means I can see the big picture, manage teams, and ensure everyone is pulling in the same direction.
But I also love diving into the details: ideating, pitching, creating and executing.
What excites me most is smart and considered work that makes an audience feel, think, reconsider, wonder, and then act.
Finally and most importantly, I take myself way less seriously than the following photo would have you believe.
